The $150 books the hour and holds the day, because all three of us are driving out for it. Pick the room that bothers you most: the kitchen, the mudroom, the bedroom nobody ever finished. If you're torn between two, tell us both and we'll say which one to start with.

About an hour, often less. We ask who uses the room, what time of day, and what keeps ending up on the counter. You don't have to tidy it first. We'd rather see it the way you actually live in it.

The price follows the next day
We won't put a figure on your kitchen counter that we haven't sat down and worked out. We go home, price the room honestly, and come back with a real number within 24 hours of the visit. Take us on and the $150 comes off it. Don't, and the plan is still yours to do yourself, and there's nothing further to pay.

The $150 is flat. Same at your house as at your neighbour's, and we don't price the hour by how nice the place looks when we get there.

Why do I pay before you've done anything?
Because three of us clear an afternoon and drive out for it. The $150 is what makes the day real on both sides. Change your mind up to the morning of and it goes back to you.
Why isn't the price for the work on this page?
Because it depends on the room, and we won't invent a range on a webpage. We'd rather stand in it first. We come back with a real number within 24 hours of the visit, and that number doesn't move afterwards.
What if I say no when the number comes?
Then that's the end of it. You keep the plan, you owe nothing further, and nobody calls you about it in three weeks.
What counts as one room?
The room you point at. We plan that room, top to bottom, and one handmade piece for it. If the one next door is bothering you too, say so at the visit and we'll price it as its own room.
Do I have to clean up before you come?
No, and please don't. A tidied room hides the problem we're being paid to find. Carlin in particular would rather see the pile.
Can I have just the organising, or just the paint?
All three of us come either way. That's the whole idea, and it's why it's one hour and one price. What you do with the plan afterwards is up to you.
How far out do you drive?
Western New York. Tell us the town when you book, and if it's outside where we can get to and back in a day, we'll say so before you're charged a thing.
